Behind the scenes of our Sydney buying trip

Behind the scenes of our Sydney buying trip

Rachael and Angela have returned from a trip to Sydney recently , where they immersed themselves in all things festive to source beautiful Christmas treasures for the shop. While there, they also attended the Reed Gift Fair, one of the biggest retail buying events of the year, gathering inspiration, discovering new brands
and securing some gorgeous surprises we can’t wait to share.

Exploring Christmas goodies, we explored collections from brands like Jim Shore, Mark Roberts and Raz.
some gorgeous surprises are coming, we can’t wait to share.

Rachael and Angela then visited the iconic David Jones store to soak up a little retail inspiration. It was wonderful to see beautiful displays from brands we proudly carry at Homestead, including the stunning new Artichaut collection by Le Creuset and the vibrant Ottolenghi range. Excitingly, renowned chef Yotam Ottolenghi was due to appear the very next day for a special talk!

One of the highlights of the trip was dinner at ITŌ a fabulous Japanese Italian fusion restaurant that completely wowed us. Blending delicate Japanese precision with rich Italian flavours, every dish was creative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. This hidden gem came highly recommended by a lovely staff member at QT Sydney, where they were staying and it did not disappoint.

Celebrating a successful buying trip, we can't wait to show you our new arrivals when they land instore.
