Illustrated by Matthew Rice with precise detail, this design depicts a chaffinch sat in amongst the hedgerow of green hawthorn leaves and vibrant red berries. The design is complete with titles written in red calligraphy, complete with Latin names too. This stunning illustration continues inside the rim with red script writing which reads ‘Chaffinch and Hawthorn’ accompanied by little sprigs of hawthorn.
